Reflection:
For this portion of the assignment, the students followed on rather well. I was able to change up some explanations to better help them understand the key literary elements we are working on. I had used my own personal text that I enjoyed but I know moving forward it is best to use a text they have already read so they can apply the new information to what they already know. Several students asked really good questions, The objectives were met in a variety of ways by using technology. I had provided them with a powerpoint to go over in detail the literary elements. I used the Smartboard to show them the template and the example template I wanted them to use to help guide them on their infographic . Students then used their chromebooks to complete their assignments. The management plan is as follows: Prior to assignment I made sure the Chromebooks were fully charged before classes begin. It is up to the students to plug them in at the end of class to keep them organized and charged for the next class. Student should login to their chromebooks and go to Canva to begin assignment. Students should follow along on the Smartboard and watch my demonstration closely and avoid working ahead. I will let them know any questions will be answered at the end of of the lesson. Students are to remain in their assigned seats, If there is a technical problem, raise your hand and I will assist you. It is the students responsibility to handle the chromebooks with care and to keep food and drinks put away. Students should use their time wisely and submit assignment to the proper area.
