About Me

My name is Caylee Martin and I am a 2022 Graduate with a Bachelors of Arts in History for Secondary Education from Grand Canyon University. I am currently enrolled at the University of Western Alabama in the process of obtaining my Masters in English Language Arts 6-12. I am in my first year teaching 7th grade English at Peter F. Alba middle school in Bayou La Batre, Alabama. Alba is where I completed my Student Teaching. As I was finishing up my degree, I became a certified substitute teacher and eventually was hired as a full time Para-Professional. I worked as a Para until a teaching position became available. I am very fortunate to work at my school of choice. Alba is a very special place!
